University Hospital’s Perinatal Treatment Center provides specialized high-risk obstetrical care by a team of physicians, nurses and ultrasound technicians, who specialize in women’s health.

Services include ultrasound, fetal heart rate monitoring and prenatal testing and treatment. The Perinatal Center offers a wide range of diagnostic and medical services for pregnancies complicated by pre-existing medical conditions such as diabetes, heart or kidney disease, or newly diagnosed fetal disorders. The focus is on providing continuity of care from the diagnosis of a complication to the birth of the baby, and care of the mother and baby in the postnatal period.
