Clinical
Trials
The Heart Failure/Transplant
Program incorporates the most advance therapies available for the care
of patients with heart failure. This includes opportunities for involvement
in clinical trials through the University of Cincinnati Division of
Cardiovascular Disease and the Cardiac Clinical Trials Unit. Clinical
trials are available in the areas of heart failure, cardiac transplant,
heart rhythm disturbances, diagnostic tools for heart disease, high
blood pressure and many other conditions. They involve cutting edge
medications, devices and other therapies that are not available through
non-research centers. Individuals interested in learning more about
these research projects should contact the Cardiac Clinical Trials
Hotline at 513-558-2273 or email
us.
