University Hospital’s Cardiovascular Services can assist you in dealing with the heart disease process. We provide a multidisciplinary team of caregivers including: clinical Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs), nurses, nurse practitioners, a social worker, a dietician, an exercise specialist and physicians to provide the care you need.

Our Cardiovascular Services is on the forefront of technology. With state-of-the-art facilities and cutting-edge practices, University Hospital’s Cardiovascular Services have been recognized both locally and nationally for their excellence in care.

Our surgeons combine medical expertise with an emphasis on research and clinical application of new technology. They are highly trained and excel in coronary revascularization techniques, complicated valve repair and internal cardiac defibrillator placement. In addition, University Hospital participates in many pioneering clinical trials.
