Air Care & Mobile Care— Air Care & Mobile Care at University Hospital offers the Greater Cincinnati community air transport and three levels of ground transport (Mobile Intensive Care, Advanced Life Support or Basic Life Support) - making it the most comprehensive air and ground medical transport program in the region. University Hospital offers the only medical transport program in the region which carries licensed physicians on board every flight, as well as providing the only dedicated helicopter ambulance service in the area. The program is also the only provider to provide all three levels of ground transport, so that patients receive the appropriate level of care specialized to their needs. As a testament to its service, Air Care & Mobile Care is the only service in the region to be accredited in all four levels of medical transport by the Commission on Accreditation of Transport Services (CAMTS). CAMTS accreditation is the highest standard by which medical transport services are measured.

When burn patients come to University Hospital Center for Emergency Care, their burns will be evaluated and referred to the appropriate department for treatment.
